What Makes Balansit UNIQUE?

There are many cushions including air discs (slightly unstable but random), Gel pads (that distribute load) donut and wedge cushions that are static, and a multitude of other designs.

They may allow for small improvements by improving weight distribution along the tool. The Balansit however, has been engineered so the user needs to find “Balance” front to back (sitting upright v slouching or over extending) and side to side (Sitting to one side or another creating asymmetrical loading of the spine and pelvis)

Also the Saddle provides enough support for the sitting bones to hold the Pelvis in a more optimum position for sitting.

The design along with our proprietary foam make Balansit unique.

This Patented 2 curve design, is unique only to the Balansit, and is the key to the user finding excellent natural and effortless posture.

The Inventor Of Balansit

The Balansit was developed by Daniel Vladeta.

Daniel’s interest was in how compensatory patterns translate to physiological and functional change, and looked at ways treatment and rehabilitative exercise could be used to address these.

In the late 90’s, Daniel began work with a Spinal and Orthopaedic Company, that lead to him working around the world with top surgeons, and the development of Surgical Devices. His return to Australia lead him to commence development of a device that acted as a bio-feedback or self-regulating device, that acted as an unstable base, to be used in both Rehabilitation and Functional Exercise. The Oov was launched.

Daniel now works with leading practitioners collaborating on Rehabilitation and Exercise prescription, and delivers Training to Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Chiropractors, Exercise Physiologists, Pilates instructors and Personal Trainers around the world.

Daniel also co-founded ROK Works. ROK (Remedial Orthopaedic Kinematics) Works uses 3D Motion Capture and EMG Technology to analyse the safety of High Risk Tasks, and Screen employees performing these task, thus preventing injury in the workplace. This technology is also being used to screen professional athletes injury prevention, and improved function and performance. He is working with elite and professional athletes in all sports, including Tennis, Golf, Rugby, AFL, Swimming and Athletics.
